As you can see we have a gorgeous new layout up made by the extremely talented Nicole from NowhereLand9 Design. Our gallery is also sporting a brand new look (also made by Nicole). I love both layouts so much, she used the latest shoot Alexis did (which I adore). Let me know if you spot any errors!

New Project: “The Brass Teapot”

I have no idea how I missed this but a while back Alexis has been cast as Payton in The Brass Teapot alongside Juno Temple and Michael Angarano. The film was shot back in July and is expected to be released in 2012. Here’s some info.

Based on the comic book series “The Brass Teapot” about mid-twenty year old couple who, in these difficult economic times, finds a mysterious, magical brass teapot which makes them money but at a surprising price. After realizing the teapots powers, John and Alice must decide how far they will go to fulfill their dream.

Alexis did a gorgeous new photoshoot. This is by far my favorite shoot of her, she looks simply stunning in every picture. Unfortunately I only found them in MQ but if I find better quality pictures I will add them to the gallery!

Austin Film Festival Film and Food Gala

Honorary co-chair at Austin Film Festival

Alexis will be one of the honorary co-chair during the Austin Film Festival, starting October 19.

The panels and films of Austin Film Festival don’t start until Thursday, but the party begins Wednesday, Oct. 19 at the 9th Annual Film and Food Gala. This year’s honorary co-chairs are actress Alexis Bledel (Gilmore Girls, Sin City, The Conspirator) and writer/director Ryan Piers Williams (The Dry Land).

Offering bites from the city’s best restaurants, silent auctions to raise money for AFF’s Young Filmmakers Program, an open bar, and the chance to bump into various filmmakers and fans, this event is the perfect kick-off for festival goers and an excuse to enjoy an elegant evening at the Driskill Hotel for everyone else.
This year’s participating restaurants include Austin Cake Ball, Whole Foods, Buenos Aires Cafe, Haddington’s, Parkside, Roaring Fork, Mulberry, Truluck’s and many more. Tickets are $90 for the general public or $75 for AFF members and festival badge holders, and ticket proceeds go to the Young Filmmakers Program as well.
Austin Film Festival has continued to make announcements over the last few days about special guests (Mira Sorvino, Jay Duplass and Dennis Quaid are among those attending) and the schedule is now live. “Violet & Daisy” TIFF Premiere + Portraits
